Once added, a purple puzzle piece icon will appear in the Chrome toolbar.
Click the icon.
Grant the requested permissions to enable premium access and sync with Google Drive.
Adding the Screenshot Reader
The Screenshot Reader is a separate component that must be added in addition to the main extension.
Admin Deployment: Can be force-installed via the Google Admin Console.
User Installation: If not force-installed, users will be prompted to install it the first time they click the Screenshot Reader icon on the toolbar. Alternatively, it can be found on the Chrome Web Store.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to use the admin tool with our license?
Only Group licenses require the Texthelp Google Admin Tool. If you have an Unlimited license, the tool is not required.
Can an administrator grant permissions for all users?
No. Due to Google's security protocols, each user must individually grant permissions for the extension to access their Chrome and Google Drive accounts.
Can users customize the toolbar?
Yes. To hide or move buttons:
Click the More button (three dots) on the right side of the toolbar.
Go to Options > Features.
Toggle features off (left) to hide them or on (right) to restore them.
Can I prevent the toolbar from opening automatically in Docs or Slides?
To prevent the toolbar from auto-loading, click the Hide button (up arrow) on the right end of the toolbar before closing your document.
