Data Dashboard: Understanding Your Product Data

This article provides definitions of the most common features seen in the Feature Usage graph for all products in the Data Dashboard.
Read&Write
Feature name | What it means

Text to speech | The number of times a user clicks Play, Pause, Stop or Hover Speech |
Prediction | The number of times a user turns on Prediction or inserts words from the Prediction list |
Speech to text | The number of times a user turns on Talk&Type |
Highlighters | The number of times a user clicks a highlight color, clears their highlights, collects highlights, or builds a vocabulary list |
Check It | The number of times a user turns on Check It or uses the features within it to correct spelling and grammar errors |
Picture Dictionary | The number of times a user turns on the Picture Dictionary or looks up words

Translator | The number of times a user turns on the Translator or looks up words

Screenshot Reader

| The number of times a user clicks the Simplify feature, or uses the features within the Simplify page
|
Rewordify
| The number of times a user turns Rewordify on or off, or clicks on rewordified text to see the original text
|
Miscellaneous
| Includes various non-feature events like opening the toolbar, opening the Settings menu, or clicking in-product links such as Texthelp Academy or Support site

Handwriting
| Handwritten math from Mobile platform has been inserted

Handwriting Recognition
| Handwriting Recognition from toolbar has been used and converted to digital math into right hand editor

Images
| An image from Mobile inserted into Mathspace or the location where a Mathspace has been inserted (Docs, Forms, PDF etc.)

| A molecular structure is searched for in the Molecular Viewer

| A palette item is favorited or selected

| The number of users that have an independent reading level below their current grade level, but can comprehend text above their current grade level using text to speech accommodation.

| The number of users that have an independent reading level below their current grade level, but can comprehend text at their current grade level using current grade level using the text to speech accommodation.
