Read&Write for Google Chrome supports text-to-speech in Irish (as Gaeilge).

To change the text-to-speech language in Read&Write for Google Chrome, click the three dots on the right hand side of the toolbar, select Settings.

  Select Speech

Select ‘Irish Female Peig’ in the Voice dropdown. This selects the Irish voice. Choose OK to save settings. 

You can now use Select to Speak (Play), Click to speak, Hover Speak and Audio Maker to listen to any Irish text read aloud.
