When using ClaroRead to read PDFs in Adobe Reader, you may find the highlight does not work whilst ClaroRead is reading.
If ClaroRead will highlight in other applications as it reads, this could be your monitor setup.
To check this, open Display Settings.
Check the orientation of your monitors.
In the image below, the main monitor is on the right (number 1) and the secondary monitor is on the left (number 2)
In this configuration, ClaroRead will not be able to highlight text in Adobe Reader if it is open on monitor 2.
ClaroRead will only be able to apply highlighting to Adobe Reader whilst it is open on the primary screen, or a screen to the right (or underneath) it.
This is due to the virtual space of the monitors and how ClaroRead reacts with them.
If you wish to use ClaroRead to highlight in Adobe, the screens will need to be set to the right of the primary display in your Display Settings.
Using the example above, if I need ClaroRead to be able to highlight from monitor 2, I would need to click on monitor 2 and then on Make this my main display.
After this, ClaroRead will be able to apply highlighting to Adobe Reader in monitor 2 and monitor 1 (as monitor 1 exists to the right of the primary monitor).
