Read&Write For Windows Features That Require Internet Access

In Read&Write for Windows the following features need Internet Access:

• Initial sign in and activation
  • find out more about activation
• Automatic updates
• Check It
  • if offline, will check for spelling mistakes but not grammar mistakes
• Picture Dictionary
• Translator
• Vocabulary List
  • will produce a list without images if offline
• Highlighting in PDF Reader
  • will work but changes will not be saved
• Online Dictation/Talk&Type
  • please turn on the offline Speech Recognition Option

    • Windows 11 Only

      On Windows 11 the Windows built in Voice Access will be used for offline Speech Recognition.

      Please Note:- this will work offline, but the first time Voice Access is used an internet connection will be needed to download the language file.
