Why Am I Getting A Message 'The activation code is invalid’ With Read&Write v11.5?

(This applies to single user licenses only)

You may see this message when you open Read&Write for the first time after you receive your new computer.  This can happen when an activation file contains an incorrect serial number.  To resolve this issue:

1. On your computer, go to C:\texthelp
2. Delete the file called rwl.dat

3. Open Read&Write, you will now be asked to enter your details to complete activation
