How can I get a free teacher account for Read&Write?

Read&Write for Google Chrome

Before you add the extension, please fill out our Free for Teacher form.


 

Make sure you enter in the same email that you use to log into Chrome.


To check, copy and paste chrome://settings into your URL bar. The email that is logged in will be listed at the top of the page.


You can add Read&Write from the Chrome store and search for Read&Write. You will see Read&Write for Google Chrome with a blue box that says "ADD TO CHROME". Click on that blue box.


Read&Write will now be added to your Chrome account and will ask you to allow permissions.




Read&Write for Windows

Before you download Read&Write, please fill out our Free for Teacher form.


You can download Read&Write by going to Texthelp.com


Hover over Products > click on Read&Write > select Try Now > choose Windows > then your location.



*Depending on the browser you are using, you will see the download in the bottom left corner of the Chrome browser, or top right in Firefox or I.E/Edge*


When the download is complete, run the “read%write” exe file and follow the installation setup.


Once installed and running, the toolbar it will ask you to sign in.




If you use Outlook, Office 365, SharePoint, or Microsoft Exchange as you email client, select “Sign in with Microsoft” and use the email that you entered into the Free for Teacher form.


If you use Gmail as your email client, select “Sign in with Google” and use the email that you entered into the Free for Teacher form.



 

Read&Write for Mac

Before you download Read&Write, please fill out our Free for Teacher form.


You can now add Read&Write from Texthelp.com.


Hover over Products > click on Read&Write > select Try Now > choose Mac > then Try Now again.

When the download is complete, double click on the “read&write” dmg file and follow the installation setup.

 

Once installed and running, the toolbar it will ask you to sign in.
